1. (Optional) Install Windows 10
  2. Shrink the Windows partition, resulting some Unallocated Space. The built-in Disk Management may have shrinking issues due to unmovable files. In such a case, use EaseUS Partition Master Free instead.
  3. Install Ubuntu with a USB stick. Make sure to select Install Ubuntu alongside Windows Boot Manager.
  4. After finished installing Ubuntu, boot into Windows. You may need to run Windows Startup Recovery while booting into Windows the first time.

During Ubuntu installation, if the drives cannot be detected, it may be due to the BIOS settings. For examples, see the solution for Acer Predator.
